My name is Chiayo Lin (林佳佑/Lim Ka-iū). I was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and grew up in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In 2018, I moved to the US to pursue a degree in Computer Science. I recently graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Statistics. I'm currently a SWE based in the Washington DC area.

Personal Computing

All my machines run POSIX-compliant operating systems. Most of my programming work is done in a terminal emulator (kitty ) and Vim (NeoVim ), for productivity's sake. As for keyboards, for those interested, I primarily use my laptop's keybaord, and a HHKB when I'm at home.
